Get involved
The Outside Club exists because people show up. Not just for young people, but alongside them. Here's how you can be part of it.
Why your support matters
No young person should have to pay to belong somewhere. Every session, every trip, every hot chocolate on a freezing Tuesday evening. It's free.
That only works because of the people and organisations who back us. Whatever you've got to give (time, money, skills, or the spare footballs in your garage) there's a way in.
Donate
£5 a month keeps a young person coming back every week. A one-off gift helps us buy kit, fuel, food, and the stuff that makes sessions work.
You don't have to give big. You just have to give a shit.
Volunteer
You don't need a youth work qualification. You need to be reliable, warm, and up for being outside in all weathers.
Come and try a session. See what it's like. If it fits, we'll find the right role for you, whether that's on the ground with young people or behind the scenes helping us grow.
Careers
We're a small team doing big work. If you're experienced in working with children and young people and want to be part of something that actually puts them first, we'd like to hear from you.
If we're not hiring right now, get in touch anyway. We're always open to a conversation.
Partnerships
We work alongside local organisations, residents' associations, councils, and anyone who wants to advocate for young people in their community.
If your values line up with ours, let's talk about what we could do together.
For funders
We're a registered charity (The Outside Club CIO, est. December 2025). If you're a grant-maker, business, or individual looking to back youth work that's community-led, evidence-based, and entirely free at the point of access, we'd welcome a conversation.
We can evidence impact. We can also just tell you what Tuesday evenings look like on the Pategill estate now compared to three years ago.
Still not sure? Get in touch and we'll figure it out together.
